McCain uncomfortable with TN GOP anti-Obama release (FOX)

“All I can say is that I have made my position very clear and I have made it time after time and I made it yesterday,” McCain said at a San Antonio press conference, alluding to his condemnation Tuesday of a local radio talk show host who also referenced the Democrat’s middle name at an Ohio rally.
McCain noted that given that he is still not the official GOP nominee and has little control over the entire party, but added that, “if I am the nominee of the party, I will obviously assure that everyone within my party knows that this has got to be a respectful debate.” FULL ARTICLE + VIDEO
JB’s note: McCain is truly the ideal opponent for Obama:
-He will keep the competition as civil as it can possibly be — which plays to Obama’s strengths, and will hopefully keep a lid on all the anti-patriotism accusations and such.
-He is hated by many on the far-right, including evangelicals. Many will not vote out of protest, and some might even vote for Obama, who is clearly a more “Christian” candidate when one looks at the extent to which Christian morality and rhetoric play a part in each of their everyday lives.
-He is expired; he is too old; youth voters will turn out in droves for this election like never before, and I predict at least 65% of 18-30 year olds will vote for Obama. He is also very, very, very white, so the many minority voters who will (finally) turn out for this election should vote for Obama at about 9-1.
