Richardson close to endorsing Obama? Possible running mate??
JB Comment: A really likable guy, and the perfect running mate for Barack: very experienced in all aspects of public life (U.N. ambassador, Clinton cabinet member, Governor), white but also Latino for the Latino vote which has been so elusive for Obama, easygoing and very “regular Joe.”
This is as close as to an endorsement as we’re gonna get for the moment, I think….
Yeah, i would definitely agree with this Veep match-up recommendation. BR offers great balance and experience to the ticket. Plus, potential ex-Bushie crossovers won’t have to go cold turkey on having someone on the Ticket that they’d feel comfortable having a beer with–Richardson is definitely that kinda guy–cowboy boots, belt buckle, cigar smoking. etc. Plus, I have it on good authority that he’s not bashful about throwing the F-bomb around from time to time…which beats Bushie Bombs!
